Very disappointing. Ordered a sausage and pepper sandwich and it came on a hamburger bun sized roll (although admittedly sturdier and nicer) with three coin sized slices of sausage. It did taste good but when you order a sausage and pepper sandwich I feel it's reasonable to assume it'll come on a steak roll with at least one sausage worth of sausage. Sandwich didn't come with anything..it'd be nice if they at least threw some chips on the side. I was hungry again in less than an hour.
Prefer this location over the old forge original spot. Better atmosphere, cleaner, much quicker service. Freshly redone interior. Good beer selection. Friendly staff, will eat there again.
We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered a broccoli cheese white pizza. It came out cold, and clearly you could tell it was reheated. When we said something to the waitress she said she would speak to management but assured us it was made fresh. She never came back until she brought the check, charging full price. The pizza was horrible tasting and the service was lacking. Definitely do not plan on eating there again.
Drove here on the way back from Kaaterskill Falls heading home to NJ. Was excited to try the White Pizza but wasn't impressed with the bland taste. Happy to go again and try something different (Red / Grandma Slice) but wouldn't go for their "famous" White pizza.
Old Forge Pizza at its finest.. Iconic, bordering on the historic landmark. Peppy, friendly service. This place oozes of ambience that can only be found in an Italian restaurant. Old Forge pizza is unique, certainly not for everyone, but if you like it, you will never see pizza the same way again.
